Gwen Woods completed B.S. degrees in mathematics and engineering from the Colorado School of Mines in June 2006. Beginning in September 2006, she spent a little over two years in Vanuatu with the United States Peace Corps, returning to the U.S. in December 2008. Since January 2009, she has been pursuing a PhD in environmental engineering from the University of Arizona. |
