Speaker: Saqib Karori Time: Sunday, 9:00am-10:00am The first portion of this workshop will focus on water quality and treatment fundamentals as they pertain to treatment of inorganics, specifically arsenic in the groud water. The second half of the workshop will share presenter's experiences and various challenges to providing safe and reliable potable water in the developing countries of Asia and South America. Some of the economic and social impacts of implementing water treatment projects in developing countries will also be discussed.
