Hiking Print E-mail

The official end of the conference is at 12pm on Sunday afternoon, but why rush home? Boulder is full of fun things to do!

Chautauqua Park

CU students will be facilitating a hike Sunday at 1:30. The hike will start at the Chautauqua trail head, just a couple minutes from CU’s campus at the intersection of Baseline and Kinnikinic Rd. Hikes from the trailhead range in difficulty and can be found at this website. All of the trails are very well maintained so although hiking boots might be nice for your feet, tennis shoes are more than sufficient for hiking around the flatirons. Our students will be there for guidance and will lead a couple specific hikes but we encourage you to know your limits and come prepared with water and clothing to make your hike enjoyable.
